Text: Ruth 4 | Series: Ruth
Throughout the centuries across cultures, something within the human heart seems to resonate with the concept of having a noble king. A king with honor and strength who will fight for his people.
Perhaps this is a reflection that the world made by our Creator is called the Kingdom of God. It has the noblest of King ruling over it.
The Bible promises us a King who will reign righteously.
When God’s King Comes.
From the start of the book of Ruth, God has been orchestrating Naomi and Ruth’s journey for the coming of King Jesus.
In the final chapter, we see Boaz, Ruth’s redeemer, playing the role of the redeemer pointing ahead to Jesus coming as our Redeemer, the promised King.
