Text: John 14:1-14 | Series: John 12-21

Is your heart troubled?
Is there anxiety, unrest, and maybe even fear?
What if there was an antidote for anxieties, fears, and worries?

Our Lord Jesus tells us the cure for troubled hearts in the fallen world in today’s passage.

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.” John 14:1 presents us with the cure.

What does this belief entail?
And how can the disciples not be worried when the Master they have given up everything to follow is going away?

What’s going to happen to them now?
And just where is He going, Thomas needed to know.

I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

What does this mean?
And what is it about the believing in God that would cure us of fears and anxieties (John 14:1)?

Listen to the sermons as Pastor Adam draws out four primary points in Jesus’ prescribed cure, that:

  • An eternal home awaits God’s people.
  • The Cross of Jesus Christ is the answer we need
  • God is not absent today, has revealed Himself clearly through His Son
  • God is at work today through His Holy Spirit dwelling in His people
