Text: John 18:15-27 | Series: John 12-21

Just after Jesus’ arrest, the disciples were scattered. John 18 tells us that Peter came back to watch how the events would unfold.

Even after being warned by Jesus Himself, Peter denied that he knew his Lord – three times.

In John 18:15-27, we see Peter shamefully denied Christ three times. Peter failed when it counted the most and when it mattered.

We also see a striking contrast, of Jesus who did not deny when he was being interrogated by the Jewish authorities. He stood resolute in the face of immense pressure.

We praise God for Christ who stood resolute and in so provided a way of salvation for the many Peters and sinners; including you and I.
