Text: Psalm 10 | Series: Psalms 9 and 10

In times of trouble, trials, and sufferings, how do you approach God?

David, the psalmist, lamented the absence of God as he was experiencing evil, exploitation, mistreatment, persecution, and oppression.

Why, O LORD, do you stand far away?
Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble? (Psalm 10: 1)

He cried out to God for God’s Justice.

As we experience trouble, we too can cry out to God for justice, based on our right relationship with God through His Son Christ. And Jesus will understand.

Jesus understands because He had experienced the greatest evil, injustice and betrayal. He had gone to the cross and conquered death for us so that we may approach the Father with a confident hope.
