Text: Rev 1:9-20 | Series: Revelation 1-3

What is glory? Glory points to something that’s beyond the ordinary, beyond what we experience in the ordinary.

And why are our hearts drawn to such beauty, significance, and greatness? We are drawn to beauty, significance, and greatness because all of these things are ultimately found in our Creator, God Himself.

Last week in Revelation 1:1-8, we saw the overview of the book of Revelation; with the emphasis on the truth that Jesus is coming back soon.

In today’s passage (Revelation 1:9-20) we see John’s attempt at describing Jesus in all of His glory; a description of the Jesus who is coming back.

Who exactly was it that John saw?
When he was given this vision of Jesus?
And why did God give him the vision? Listen on to find out.
