In many countries, especially in the West, one of, if not the highest virtues in the 21st century is “inclusion”, an emphasis on accepting all people, regardless of who or what you might be. There should be no distinction based on race or gender or skin color or nationality or ethnicity. And to be the opposite of this, to be exclusive, to discriminate. It’s seen a shameful, it’s even seen as immoral and there’s a much good in this newfound emphasis of the 21st century. We, as Christians can and should affirm much of the inclusive message, recognizing of course, that when we are told, we should start being inclusive of things the Bible calls sin. Well, that’s a line that cannot be crossed. But overall, being accepting and not discriminating is a very good and godly thing.
