Our God is a loving God. Thus, we desire to mirror God in his love by extending a warm “welcome” every Sunday to our regular worshippers and to our newcomers.
As God is calling worshippers to come before him (Psalm 67), our ministry team rejoices with the rest of our church family to worship him and encourage one another (Hebrews 10:25).
What does the Welcome Ministry do?
As a team of about 30 people, we take turns to greet regular attendees and newcomers prior to the start of service. We seek to share more info about IC@MK with church attendees, helping them to feel welcome and connected with one another as a church body.
This is a ministry field where you can get the opportunity to know many people, share of our joy and hope in Christ, and carry one another’s burdens.
If you are interested in joining our team, we trust that God can work through any personality. You don’t have to be fluent in English or extroverted. Simply bring a genuine heart and warm smile that comes out of thankfulness to our Lord.
Romans 15:7: Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.
