Welcoming

Whether you are visiting us for the first time or the nth time, the church family at IC@MK extends our sincere welcome to you as you join us for Sunday service!

It can be daunting to visit a new church, not knowing what to expect. Hopefully, by browsing the church’s website, you would have gotten to “know” us a little better.

But nothing beats visiting us in person, right?

The Welcoming Team hopes to make your visit a little less stressful. We’ll be there to greet and show you the way to the sanctuary as you step into the building. If you need anything, just reach out (it’s not hard to spot us) and we’ll be happy to assist.

At 10:30 am, the service proper starts with worship in songs, followed by prayer and the sermon. Children of different ages join the adults for worship and are dismissed to their respective classes as the adults stay on for the preaching of the Word.

There’s a baby room at the back of the sanctuary for parents who prefer to care for babies under two.

There are audio speakers in the room so parents can listen in on the sermon.

Both Sunday school and the main service end at around 12:00 pm.

Coffee and light refreshments are served at the Fellowship Hall right after the sermon. If you could stay back for a short while, we’d like to get to know you a little and maybe answer any questions that you may have about the church. Our Pastor and elders will also be happy to meet with you.

The International Church at Mont Kiara is a relatively new church with a diverse community. On any Sunday, you could find people of different ethnicity worshiping with us.

We hope you’ll feel welcome with us and do join us for the next Newcomers Welcoming Luncheon (more details here).
